Required as soon as possible

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Attendance Manager to lead our team at Farlingaye. Attendance at school is not only a legal requirement but also a fundamental aspect of a student's educational journey. We strongly believe that regular attendance is vital for academic success as it ensures our students are actively engaged in their learning, fostering a sense of routine and discipline and allowing them to form valuable relationships with their peers, instilling valuable life skills that extend beyond the classroom. Research consistently demonstrates that students with high attendance rates are more likely to achieve better outcomes, develop positive relationships with their peers and teachers, and have higher aspirations for their future. Therefore, the role of Attendance Manager at Farlingaye is integral in fostering a culture of commitment to learning, ultimately contributing to the overall success and well-being of our students.

As our Attendance Manager, you will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining high levels of student attendance, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive academically and socially. Your responsibilities will include monitoring daily attendance records, identifying patterns of absence, and implementing strategies to address attendance issues effectively. Additionally, you will work closely with students, families, and staff to provide support and guidance, facilitating a culture where regular attendance is valued and encouraged. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for supporting the holistic development of young people. If you are committed to making a positive impact on student outcomes and creating a nurturing learning environment, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
